Space Alert is a cooperative game in real time. Players have 10 minutes to complete their mission, protect their ship while it maps part of the space. In this period of time, they will have to manage the weapons of the ship, the energy reserves, the shields because they will have to face enemies, manage the problems of the ship while the on-board computer ticks off the seconds, putting more and more pressure on the players who have to organize themselves to do things in the right order. Phew! After 10 minutes, the round stops because the ship - if it still exists - jumped into hyperspace. After this phase which is likely to be chaotic since the players all have lots of things to do, it screams, it hurries, it tries to coordinate, takes place the resolution phase. First interest, it allows a return to calm. Then, it is at this point that we verify the results of the actions undertaken. For example, it's fine to shoot if no one has thought of reloading the guns ... And that may not make the vile aliens flee. The game is won if the players managed to chain their actions correctly without the ship being too damaged. Otherwise, in space, we won't hear them screaming. The timing of the game is managed by a CD that you just have to listen to as you go. A player with a stopwatch can replace him if necessary. There are eight sound tracks and since there are Action cards to draw, this renews the games quite a lot while allowing you to manage their level of difficulty.
